| Field notes | Forest of Polylepis weberbaueri and Gynoxys, parts open, parts dense with litter understory; on colluvium of large boulders. Tree 8m., largest trunk 65 cm. DBH; bark rusty, multilayered, papery, exfoliating in sheets; pubescence whitish to somewhat yellowish on stipules;infl pendant; fls green; anthers purplish, pubescent. Dominat in forest at mid-valley. |
