| Field notes | Terrestrial herb, stilt rooted, rhizome short, pale green leafy shoots and dense cluster, up to 3 m tall, sheath glabrous, small distinct bump at base of petiole, leaves dark green above and mid green below, peduncle 15 cm, bracts brownish grey, flowers white, white labellum with yellow patch (middle lobe). Fruits 8-10, pinkish to brown, smooth but with longitudinal ridges. |
