| Field notes | Tree ca. 8 m tall. Leafy twigs 2.5-3 cm long, bluish by a waxy layer, internodes partly filled with brown pith. Lamina 35x35 - 50x50 cm, 7-8 lobes; petiole 30-45 cm long; trichilia absent; stipules 20-30 cm long, green to yellowish; spikes 6-16; 9-20x0.3-0.5 cm. Ants absent. |
