| Field notes | Tree ca. 15 m tall. Leafy twigs 3-4 cm in diameter, green. Lamina up to 65 x 65 cm, segments 9-11; petiole up to 50 cm long; stipules 15-20 cm long, green. Peduncle 2-4 cm long; spathe 4-5 cm long, green; spikes ca. 10-13, 1-5 x 0.7-0.9 cm, in fruit up to 8 x 1.2 cm. Ants absent. |
