| Field notes | Stems single, 5 m tall, smooth, unarmed, diam.: 8 cm, at base, medium part 7-8 cm, at top 6.5 cm, leaf scars almost invisible. Stiltroots present, 10-15 cm high. No crown-shaft present. Number of mature leaves 15. Petiole ca 0.5 m long, with reddish brown bases. Leaf-blade ca 1.5 m long. Number of inflorescences 7, erect, axillary to lower leaves, almost hidden. Immature fruit yellow. |
