| Field notes | Leaves dark green, paler on the lower than on the upper side. Bracts green, but heavily brownish purple tinted. Ovaries dark brownish purple. Sepals pale green with brownish red nerves, esp. visible on the outer side. Lateral petals as sepals, but tails uniformly reddish brown. Pouch pale green, edges yellowish green, esp. the lower side dirty brownish red suffused. Upper hairy edge of gynostemium dark brownish purple, gynostemium yellowish green. Stigma white. |
