| Field notes | Clustering, high-climbing rattan to 30m, internode length 90cm, sheaths green, covered in brown indumentum, leaves 1. 7m, 8 leaflets per side, leaflets opposite, last pair of leaflets more distant than other regularly spaced leaflets, green on both sides, ocrea 2cm, truncate, stem unarmed in lower half of internode.
