| Field notes | Mixed lowland dipterocarp forest. Climbing, clustering rattan, height 4m, leaf length 1.2m, leaflets on upper side dark green, on lower side greyish green, sheaths dull greyish green, diameter with sheath 1 cm, without 6mm, climbing stem emerging from ground rosette with larger leaves to 1.5m, with petiole 50cm.
