| Field notes | Mixed lowland dipterocarp forest. Solitary rattan, leaves ecirrate, 25cm, no petiole, bullate, leaflets 5 per side, dark shiny green on both sides, flagellum 40cm, lowermost leaflets reflexed, sheath dull green, corrugated with small ridges in 7mm intervals, completely spineless, knee mossy green, spineless; Javensis group; stem diameter with sheath 5mm, without 3mm, rachis of young leaves with red hairs, internode length 8cm |
