| Field notes | Disturbed secondary lowland dipterocarp forest on slope, open vegetation under tall trees, much light. Climbing rattan, height 3m, stem length 8m, sheats bright lime green, with long ocreas diverging at an acute 40 degree angle, light brown, sheeths and ocreas armed with thin needle-like spines, ocreas ant-infested, leaves 1.4m incl. petiole 15cm and cirrus 70 cm, 5 leaflets per side, praemorse, bright green on upper side and white on lower side. |
