| Field notes | Solitary rattan, shortly erect, stem length 10cm, height 80cm, leaves ecirrate, eflagellate, leaf length 80cm total incl. petiole 40cm, leaflets 17 per side,bright green on both sides, regular and closely parallel, inflorescence 1x branched, female fruits on 8cm long rachillae immature, 3mm diameter, in 2 rows on one plane {distichous), 2 rachillae per inflorescence, total inflorescence length 40cm, inflorescence tip sterile, inflorescence stalk flattened, petiole bright green, with narrow "valley" on adaxial side, petiole spines in regular intervals, in 3 rows at 90 degree angles |
