| Field notes | Caespitose palm with 7 stems, to 3 m tall. Collected stem 1 m long, 7 cm in diam., covered by old leafsheaths. Petiole 128 cm long, rachis 176 cm long; pinnae 35 per side, inserted regularly, in one plane. Inflorescences 2, infrafoliar; prophyll 29 cm long; peduncle 61.5 cm long; rachis 19 cm long; rachillae 16, basal rachillae 43 cm long, apical rachilla 24 cm long. Infructescence red, fruits black. |
