| Field notes | Caespitose palm with 2 stems to 160 cm long. Diam. cm. Internodes 3 cm long. Stem green to yellow with conspicuous nodes. No. of leaves 8 + 1 juvenile, lamina bifid. No. of inflorescences 1 interfoliar, spicate. Peduncle 3.5 cm long. Spike 8.5 cm long. Infructescence from an other individual: Peduncle 4 cm long. Spike 16.5 cm long and 2.5 cm in diam.
