| Field notes | Solitary palm. Stem 78 cm long. Diam. 4 cm. Stem brown, rough. No. of leaves 9 + 1 juvenile. Leafsheath + petiole 76 cm long. Rachis 87 cm long. No. of pinnae 2 X 7. Pinnae regularly distributed and of slightly different size. Basal pinnae: 26 X 2.3 cm, mid. pinnae: 42 X 4.7 cm, apical pinnae: 28 X 4.5 cm. Inflorescences spicate interfoliar.
