| Field notes | Solitary palm, very coomon in the area. Stem 200 cm long prostrate for 140 cm. Length of internode 5.2 cm. Stem green glabrous with conspicuous nodes. Base of stem with adventitious roots. No. of leaves 2 + 1 juvenile. No. of infructescences 1, inserted at the 2nd apical node. No. of rachillae 2. Petiole and rachillae orange. Fruits green. |
