| Field notes | Solitary palm, very common in the area. Stem 50 cm long. Diam. 0.9 cm. Length of internode 2 cm. Stem green glabrous with conspicuous nodes. Base of stem with adventituous roots. No. of leaves 4 + 1 juvenile. No. of inflorescences 2, inserted at the 1. and 2. apical node. |
