| Field notes | Solitary palm, very common in the area. Stem 127 cm long. Diam. 1 cm. Length of internode 6 cm. Stem green glabrous with conspicuous nodes. Base of stem with adventitious roots. No. of leaves 3 + 1 juvenile. No. of infructescences 2 inserted at the 2nd and 3rd apical node. No. of inflorescences 1 inserted at the apical 1st node. Inflorescence green. Infructescence and fruits orange. |
