Field notes Caespitose palm with 2 stems. Stem 180 cm long from base to crownshaft. Dbh. 2.8 cm. Stem grey with conspicuous nodes. No. of leaves 8 + 1 juvenile. Leafsheath 94 cm long, encircling the stem for 18 cm. Petiole 17 cm long. Rachis 121 cm long. No. of pinnae 18 on one side 19 on the other. Pinnae of different sizes. no. of infructescences; 1 fruit bearing, 1 old decaying, 4 flower buds. Petiole 66 cm long with 1 prophyll and 7 peduncular bracts. Rachis 26 cm long. No. of rachillae 92. Fruits yellow-green ellipsoid 2 x 1.4 cm. DUPL. QCA, QCNE.
