| Field notes | Tree 6 m tall, diameter 15 cm. Leaves have 1-5 pairs of leaflets per leaf. Inflorescences are cauliflorous to the ground. No flowers were collected, but Additional material in AAU: pods, seedlings, inflorescencebuds in alcohol. Local name: Cruz caspi (Quichua). Uses: The species is used for reumatism in a mixture with other plants; for shortening womens periods (informant: Raul Viteri). |
