| Field notes | Tree 15 m tall, 20 cm in diameter. Young branches and rachises with four longitudinal furrows, mature more or less terete. Leaves in a distichous phyllotaxy. Stipules filamentous and early caducous. Leaves have 2-3 pairs of leaflets. Young leaflet spotted red and green. From few to 10 leaves are enclosed in one leafbud. Inflorescences are cauliflorous to the ground. All part are cream coloured. Bracts are early caducous. Additional material in AAU: Flowers in alcohol. |
