| Field notes | Roadside, dry thorny scrub with Cacti. Multiple-stemmed shrub to 1.5 m. Petals salmon-coloured, basally with black spot, Central column yellow, stamen filaments red, anthers yellow. Petals reflex backward through sepal sinuses. Uncommon. |
