| Field notes | Roadside scrub. Tree 5 m x 20 cm DBH. Branchlets spotted from white lenticels. Calyx dark violet, Petals violet, standard with central green blotch. Pod with prominent sutures. Very common locally. Sometimes used as shade trees in coffee plantations. |
