| Field notes | Tussock grass paramo with pocket of Polylepis forest in canyon. Erect herb to 50 cm. Leaves dark green above, much paler below. Lavender grey inflorescences and calyces. Corollas white. Strong smell of vamerian. Local. In open grass paramo. |
