| Field notes | Premontane forest. Path towards finca ARCOIRIS, from signposted entrace. Tree 6 m x 10 cm DBH. Leaves dark green above, light green with red midvein below. Bracts red; calyx green with red apices; petals white, stamen filaments cream, anthers yellow. |
