| Field notes | Caespitose, scandent rattan, flagellate, acirrate, sterile. Leaf sheath dark greenwith light green ornaments. Leaf petiole 20-24 cm long; leaf rachis 80-84 cm long, with 2 x 33-35 leaflets, regularly distributed in one plane, alternate basally to opposite distally. Vernacular name: Wai ye (Thai). Cabbage highly appreciated. Cane used for strong rope e.g. to tie buffalos. |
