| Field notes | Acaulescent palm, caespitose, with two equally long shoots, sterile. Leaves in crown 4; leaf base slit to the base, not fibrous, spines green basally, yellowish brown towards the tip; leaf petiole 140-200 cm long, 0.8 cm in diam; leaflets 2 x 12-14; leaf rachis 100-140 cm long. |
