Individual stems up to 8 m tall as measured to the base of the crown shaft, diam. 2.5-3 cm, internodes up to 30 cm long basally, olive green with brownish tinge. Crown shaft 35-40 cm long, green with brownish tinge from ferruginous tomentum. Leaf petiole16-20 cm long, green with patchy ferrugineous tomentum; leaf rachis about 100 cm long, green, with patchy ferruginous tomentum; leaflets 2 x 9. Infructescence pendent, with green fruits; peduncle 5 cm long, curved, green, glabrous. Prophyll and PD bracts deciduous. Rachis 2-2.5 cm long, rachillae 6, 20-24 cm long, green glabrous; green fruits 1.5 cm long, narrowly ovoid to elliptic, 0.7 cm across, beaked. |
