| Field notes | Solitary palm. Stems 25 cm tall, 75 cm in circumference. Leaf sheath 45-60 cm long, black and fibrous in the margin, wooly tomentose on the outside, with external furrow, 12-15 cm long and 1-1,5 cm wide. Petiole 135-270 cm long, black with sharp carinae. |
