| Field notes | Herb, 1 m tall, flowers white with aromatic smell. Nom. vern.: Calabos-tapé. Use: for 'pian' (Cayapa) or 'boa' (Castellano), a sickness with wounds probably leprosy. Said to be eradicated now. Preparation: the flowers are grinded and moderately heated. The paste is applicated to the wounds. |
