| Field notes | var. cuneata. Shrub, close to stream, inflorescence reddish brown with yellowish-green berries. Nom. vern.: a.-ya-ha!-chi. Use: edible fruits. The stem is bused when a stroke is healing to lessen the pain. Preparation: the stem is ground thoroughly, moderately heated and applicated to the aching tissue. |
