| Field notes | Epiphyte, hanging, leaves on the lower side dark purple with green edge. Corolla yellow, calyx green, berries white, nectorium of four glands. Nom. vern.: finu-pin-tapé. Use: for bites of the snake Equis. Preparation: the leaves are crushed thoroughly and soaked in alcohol. The alcohol mixture is then drunk. Should prevent the excess bleeding from all kinds of wou??? which is a consequence of the bite. |
