| Field notes | Fallen tree, 30 m, fruits brown, white latex. Nom. vern.: chachi-chi-haki (espanol palo de majagua). Use: the phlo?? is used as tissue for blankets. Preparation: with a stick the bark is beaten to loosen the tissue used?. This is ?hen easely stripped aff. The cortex is seperated from the phloen?. The last mentioned is prosessed by further heating to the blanket (photo). |
