| Field notes | Herb. Flowers pink. Nom. vern.: Pi-chui-tapè (Cayapa) Use: for stomach pains. Preparation: one of the plants used by the shaman. A little pond is made close to the river. Leaves are soaked in the water and and left there until the water has cleared. They are then used to rub the skin of the stomach (photo). |
