| Field notes | Fern, terrestrial, leaves spirally arranged, 1.20 m. Rachis brown, viviporous. Nom. vern.: Pi-tchapé. Use: for stomach pains. Preparation: one of the plants of the shaman. A little pond is made by hand close to river. Leaves are sooked here and after the blurred water has cleared the leaves are used for rubbing the skin in the stomach region. (see photo). |
