Field notes Treelet, 3 m. Flowers yellow. Fruit orange, with white seeds, Nom. vern.: Mihano-tapé (Cayapa) Use: for mixing with "pindé" (Hallucinogenetic decoction of Banesteriopsis caapi). Is said to make visions more clear. Is used especially when the shaman teach his apprentice. Preparation: the leaves are boiled along with the other ingredients in the "pindé".
