Field notes Fern. Leaves 0.5 m long, spirally arranged. Nom. vern.: fimu-piñ-remedio-tapé (Cayapa) Use: for bites of the equis snake (Bothrops atrox). Used for patient to speed up recovery. Preparation: the plant is boiled and the decoction used for preparing a bath.
