| Field notes | Fronds 1.5 m. Rhizome creeping. Nom. vern.: "O/.-st/.n-tapé" (Cayapa) Use: To treat anaemia. Preparation: The cold extract from the crushed leaves is used to prepare a bath or is drunk with a little water. The treament is said to be most efficient in the middle of the day. |
