Field notes Leaves 1 to 1.5 m, spirally arranged. Rachis dark brown. Sori dark brown. Nom. vern.: "Basu-tapé" (Cayapa) Use: For pains and swellings in the liver. Preparation: The leaves are crushed and dissolved in water. One glass of the extract is drunk twice a day in the morning and in the evening.
