Field notes Herb, 80 cm. Leaf underside purple. Flowers rose. Nom. vern.: "As-catcha-remèdio-tapé" (Cayapa) Use: For aching lungs and caughing blood (Tuberculosis) Preparation: The leaves are crushed and dissolved in a glass of water. The extract is drunk in the mor- ning and in the evening.
