| Field notes | Solitary leaflet 1.5-2 m tall. Leaf scars conspicuous, internodes green, 4-8 cm wide distally. Number of leaves in crown 7-8. Leaf sheath tubular forming a 35 cm long crownshaft, greenish with ferrugineous ramenta. leaf splitting irregularly in 2-17 folded segments. Leaf rachis 118 cm long. Material collected from different gamets ranging in leaf morphology from evenly to unevenly distributed pinnae, even on the same individual. Duplicates at: AAU, LAE, BRI, K, CANB. |
