| Field notes | Solitary treelet with 3.5 m long stem. Leaves in crown 7. Leaf base tubular, 34 cm long. Petiole 29 cm long. Rachis of longest leaf 94 cm. Number of leaflets 2x15. Two inflorescences, plus one inflorescence bud. Inflorescence in staminate bud: ochre yellowish with brown ferrugineous ramentum. Calyx red. Stamens white, curled.
