| Field notes | Clustering rattan. Stem to 7 m long. Diameter without sheaths 1 cm, with sheaths 1.4 cm. Distance between leaf sheath mouths variable 4 to 10 cm. Petioles variable 30 to 40 cm. long. Leaf blade 1.4 cm long. Cirrus 25 cm long. Twenty-eight pinnae on each side of rachis. Arranged in groups of up to 5. |
