| Field notes | Caespitose palm with stems up to 3.5 m tall, distance between nodes basally 3.5 cm, up to 10 cm on the middle and 5.5 cm distally. Leafsheath tubular for 30 cm forming green crownshaft, 62 cm long; petiole 25-30 cm long; blade 2.8 m long with 2 x 34 pinnae regularly distributed in one plane. Infructescences 3, with green immature fruits. |
