| Field notes | Clustering rattan. Stem to 4 m long. Diameter without sheaths 7 mm, with sheaths 10 mm. Distance between leaf sheath mouths ca. 12 cm. Leaves (incl. petiole 28 - 35 cm and cirrus 30 cm) 1.7 m long. Leaflets arranged in groups of 4 - 5, Twenty-eight on each side of rachis. Infructescence 1.2 m long with 4 partial inflorescences. Peduncle ca. 45 cm long. Prophyll 10 - 12 cm long. |
