| Field notes | Solitary palm tree, about 25 m tall. Crown rounded with 25 functional leavces and 3 marscescent ones. Leaf petiole about 2.5 m long. Longitudinal diam. of leaf blade 190 cm, tranverse diam. 170 cm. Infructescences 7, about 2 m long, peduncle 80 cm, peduncular bracts brown, chartaceous, no. of partial inflorescences 5, basal one 60 cm long, fruits shiny glaucous bluish-green. |
