| Field notes | Solitary small palm. Stem about 20-40 cm long. Leaves 10, imparipinnate pinnate. Leaf sheaths resolved in fibrous mesh. petiole variable in length from 50-80 cm long. Rachis about 50 cm long. Number of pinnae 2 X 5 + 1. Single inflorescence past female anthesis. Peduncle about 45 cm long. Rachis about 10 cm long with 8 rachillae up to 12 cm long, purplish red to lilac apically otherwise greenih cream colored. |
