| Field notes | Clustering, acaulescent palm forming tussocks in peat swamp forest. Leaf sheath split to to the base, ca. 80 cm long, with brown chartaceous margin along split. Petiole varible in length to 3.5 m long. Rachis variable in length to 2.5 m long. Pinnae 2 X 30, evenly distributed. Two male inflorescences at anthesis collected. |
