| Field notes | Solitary palm, 5.2 m tall as measured to the base of the crownshaft, 4.5 cm in diam. Width of leaf scar 1.0-1.7 cm, distal internodes green, 4-5 cm wide. Leaves in crown 5 plus one spear leaf. Leaf sheath about 50 cm long, almost entirely tubular. petiole 20-22 cm long. rachis 138 cm long, number of leaflets 2 x 11, number of folds per leaflet uneven 2-6, apex bifid. Duplicates at: AAU, LAE, BRI, K, CANB. |
