Field notes Caespitose with 4 stems and several suckers. Stem collected 520 cm long as measured to the lowest leaf-bearing node, 4.5 cm in diam. Numgber of leaves in crown 5-6. Leaf sheath about 35 cm long, the transition into the petiolar part rather indistinct. petiole about 62 cm long. Leaf rachis 165 cm long, leaflets 2 x 22, evenly distributed, alternate to opposite distally. Inflorescences 2, at staminate anthesis, stamens yellow, curled. Two additional inflorescences past pistillate anthesis collected from different ramet. Duplicates at: AAU, LAE, BRI, K, CANB.
