| Field notes | Caespitose with two stems or more, tallest ramet 3.5 m and 6-7 cm in diam. number of leaves in crown 8-10. leaf sheath about 75 cm long, desintegrating in blackish mesh. Petiole 34 cm long. Leaf rachis 174 cm long. Numbe rof pinnae 2 x 56. Number of immature infructescences 2. One prophyll and 6 pD bracts. peduncle 40-45 cm long. Rachis 25 cm long. Infructescence branched to 2. order. Number of rachillae 27-29. Basal rachillae 65-71 cm long. fruits yellowish green to red at maturity, spherical 10-18 mm in diam. containing 3 seeds.
